Protection and Restoration of the Environment XI

is a well-known series of international conferences, which started in 1992, in Thessaloniki, Greece. Since then they have been organized jointly by one American and one Greek University every two years. In 2012, which marks the twentieth anniversary of the Conference series it will take place in Thessaloniki again

Journal publications

Selected papers presented during the conference “Protection and Restoration of the Environment XI” will be published in special issues of international journals based on the quality of the paper and the topic of the journal.

Papers dealing with all topics of water resources will be considered for publication to “European Water”. Published by the European Water Resources Association since 2003, it is a valuable scientific forum for all relevant issues (see http://www.ewra.net/ew/ for more details)

Papers dealing with environmental policies and legal issues will be considered for publication to “International Journal of Environment and Sustainable Development”. Published by the Inderscience Publishers since 2002, it covers a broad spectrum of important environmental issues (see http://www.inderscience.com/browse/index.php?journalID=10 for more details) A. Gizari-Xanthopoulou and D. Manou will serve as guest editors for the special issue.

Journals that will publish special issues on other topics will be announced shortly.
